Pitch your film idea and be in to win $10,000
Do you have a great idea for a film or need funding to get your film made or do you have a story you absolutely have to tell?
If so, PITCH-SLAP is for you.
PITCH-SLAP was created to support experienced and emerging film makers to further develop their ideas and bring their ideas to the big screen. With the help of New Zealand Film Commission and Te Māngai Pāho we are offering film makers aged 18 years or older the opportunity to pitch their film idea to industry executives and be in to win all, or some of the $10,000 prize money.
The PITCH-SLAP competition will take place at 3pm Saturday 28th September at the Destiny Theatre.

All entrants must complete the PITCH-SLAP registration below.
PITCH-SLAP is open to all film makers, experienced and emerging aged 18 years old and over.
To enter the PITCH-SLAP competition you must attend the ‘How to Pitch’ workshop held at 10.30am Friday 27th September at the Destiny Theatre, this workshop will be facilitated by Steve Barr and presented by Ngā Aho Whakaari.
You must be available to pitch your film to the judges on Saturday 28th September at 3pm.
Your pitch will be no longer than 3 minutes.
All videos, media, powerpoint presentations for your pitch must be submitted to by 10am Saturday 28th September.
Judges decisions are final.
The Judges will select one or more winners and allocate a portion of the prize to each of the winners as they deem fit.
The Pitch-Slap winner or winners will be announced at the Festival Closing Gala Night.
